Warren Bergen joined WebbCo International as President in early 2007, taking an active role in day to day lead activities He has assumed deep involvement in all areas of the company with a focus on corporate finance. Warren previously held the position of Executive Director, Alberta Deal Generator, an investor network that considers financial participation with emerging Alberta technology companies. He expanded the network into a provincial model, and created one of the most succesful angel networks in Canada in terms of both size and dollars raised during his tenure. Warren frequently speaks at numerous angel and venture capital investment forums.

Prior to his involvement at Alberta Deal Generator, Warren founded a business consultancy specializing in the creation of integrated business, marketing, and sales plans for Western Canadian businesses.The majority of the business plans were constructed as support material to assist with attracting investment capital.Projects included companies from information technology, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, real estate, construction, leasing, retail, and insurance sectors.Warren was co-founder, director, and VP Marketing for a publicly traded technology firm and was an awarded Finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.

Current and former involvements include member of the board executive for the 42 store retail chain, Ten Thousand Villages Canada; board member for WiTEC Alberta, an association supporting Alberta’s wireless and telecom industry; Chair, Investor Committee, Alberta Life Technologies Investment Forum; Member, Investment Committee, Banff Venture Forum, National Angel Organization and advisory board member to several emerging technology firms.
