Shawn Brown

Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer of WebbCo International Inc., Shawn Brown is responsible for implementation of all strategic initiatives relating to WebbCo International, and all subsidiaries and divisions. He has over 15 years senior management experience in all aspects of Logistics and Operations, Finance, Sales and Marketing, and Human Resources. His background includes extensive exposure within the Consumer Packaged Goods, Transportation, and Document Security industries.

Shawn has a broad array of advanced educational certificates including Predictive Index Management Resources, and Friesen Kaye’s Train the Trainer. He has addressed Dr. Lloyd Steir’s Executive MBA class at the University of Alberta School of Business and the Business Management Program at Grant MacEwan College. Shawn has most recently delivered addresses at the 2006 Entrepreneur’s Show and the Alberta Council of Technologies.

Shawn’s general management roles at Cyba Stevens Management Group and Shred-it International Inc. have left him well qualified in formulating strategies that combine top-line revenue growth with continual respect of operational efficiencies that deliver bottom line profit. On 3 occasions, Shawn led the Edmonton branch of Shred-it International to the number 1 branch ranking world wide.

Shawn is a current Director of the Better Business Bureau of Central and Northern Alberta, and has recently been appointed Chair, Finance Committee. He was a Mentor in the 2004 VenturePrize Competition, and sat on the Advisory Board of the 2005 – 06 and 2006 – 07 VenturePrize Competition. Shawn is Past Chair of Marketing and Communications of the Alberta Council of Technologies, and has accepted board positions with EMS Edutainment and Innovequity, Inc. He has recently been appointed C.O.O. of Cargo & James Tea Inc. In addition, he has achieved his Level 1 designation in F1 racing.
